LZ-4 moored and showing her backside. Designed as a test bed for long endurance flights, she was lost in 1908 in a ground handling incident during a stop to fix one of the Daimler engines.

What is it moored to? A buoy?

I’ve been reading about the Zeppelin company producing airships that might begin operating in the US. Curious to see where that goes.
